This page explains what clayluttrell.com collects, why it is used, and the choices available to visitors.
The short version: seller, advisor, valuation, and newsletter forms are Turnstile-protected, proxied through Cloudflare, and stored in Clay’s Command Center CRM only when a submission succeeds. Advertising measurement is optional and does not power retargeting on this site.
The current site
When you submit a seller inquiry, advisor referral, valuation request, or newsletter form, Clay receives the details you enter. Lead forms also carry ordinary attribution fields such as the landing page, referrer, campaign tags, and an ad-click identifier when one is present in the URL. A Cloudflare Turnstile check runs before anything is stored.
The hosting provider may process ordinary request data—such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamps—to deliver and secure the site. That processing is governed by the provider’s terms and retention practices.
Turnstile may set a short-lived challenge cookie to verify submissions. If Google Ads measurement is configured, the Google tag does not load unless you choose Allow measurement. With permission, Google may set measurement cookies and receive the ad and form-conversion identifiers needed to report whether an ad led to an inquiry. The site disables Google signals and ad-personalization signals and does not use this data to build retargeting audiences.
Submitted information is used to answer inquiries, assess whether a business fits Clay’s acquisition criteria, prepare requested valuation material, deliver requested updates, prevent duplicate submissions, secure the site, and understand which outreach or page led to a conversation.
Personal information is not sold. Limited information is processed by providers needed to host and protect the site, deliver form submissions and email, maintain business records, and—with your permission—measure Google Ads conversions. Those providers receive only what is needed for their role.
Successful form submissions create CRM records kept only as long as reasonably needed for the request, legal obligations, and legitimate business records, using access controls appropriate to the service.
You may decline advertising measurement when the choice appears; the Google tag will not load. The choice is saved in your browser’s local storage and can be cleared with your browser’s site-data controls. Marketing email includes an unsubscribe option. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to applicable law and required records.
The site and Clay’s business services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. Clay does not knowingly seek personal information from children through this site.
Changes and questions
It will be updated when the site’s forms, measurement, email delivery, providers, or other data practices materially change. The date at the top will change with the policy.
Privacy rights vary by location. Applicable law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information.
Use the private conversation form on the Sell Your Business page and write ‘privacy’ in the message. Clay will respond through the contact information you provide.
